𦾠The AGENTS Myth
yet most don't want to be free
Better Human: Helping you build a personal moat for the AI age.
Fellow human,
40 agents running my business
Complete nonsense.
Like all hype cycles, thereās a bit of truth and mostly lies making up a line like that.
The thing is, for the hype/content guys, the 40 agents are running their business because their business is just making videos about 40 agents running their business.
So, to their credit, historically, thatās true.
For actual business owners, founders, and people using AI and agents to get more done, this just aināt true.
Now. I need to disclaim all of this.
Agents are insanely useful.
And they are going to get even more useful as every day ticks on, as models get better and the agent infrastructure does as well.
So the fact that you can use them for things right now thatās useful, coupled with the fact that they are the WORSE they will ever be, is why I believe they are actually under hyped.
People donāt know whatās coming. Whatās already here, in fact.
The key is to focus on ONE agent that does a few things very well. Then you can build from there. (Or maybe you donāt and you just focus on your business?)
My Claw agent is in telegram.
I have very few crons runningārecurring tasks. They tended to break or I just ignored them.
So I deleted them to save tokens.
Hereās where my agent shines: I get stuff out of my mind and assign faster than ever before.
My Claw agent in Telegram does the following:
Send emails
Send Slack messages
Send me a morning briefing of all CRM and biz tasks Iāve told it to track
Sends cal invites
Search email for anything I want
Send me a daily bank balance for Mercury accounts.
Examples here:
People try to build these super-agents. Nonsense.
The best agents do one or two things really well.
Think of them as tiny, perfect assistants. Not a whole department.
This is how you break down big tasks into agent-sized chunks.
Less is more and itās a game-changer for actual productivity.
Sure I can program out more, but slowly. Iām focused on making sure these workflows run perfectly before adding anything else.
Build one skill at a time and make it perfect.
Building an agent isnāt about making it do everything. Itās about making it do the right things, really well.
Iāve decided to make a few agent offers available. I had to make sure my agent was actually useful and not bug ridden before turning it into a product. Now itās ready.
