🦾 The One-Channel Rule
You can't win five channels at once, even with AI. Pick one, starve the rest.
It's so important to focus on one business.
And then once inside, it’s paramount to focus on one channel.
Google, Meta, ads, IG, TikTok, TT Shop, Etsy, eBay, SEO, affiliates, influencers, Reddit.
The list goes on and on.
Social, ads, SEO, newsletters, email. Some of them basically run themselves. But TikTok, YouTube, Instagram? Each one needs its own dedicated focus, your maximum time and energy.
If you're a solo founder or a small company, it’s brutally hard to manage. You end up bouncing around from fire to fire, and your workdays get gobbled up. Your progress stalls.
This is why focus wins. Most of the founder success stories you see today are exactly that: something clicks, and they ride the wave, as they should.
But what you don’t see is how much they neglect.
They aren’t on all the socials. Their website might be lacking. Maybe they aren't sending as much email or sms as they should. So on.
And until they (or you) have a bigger company with years of systems building and business knowledge, that’s exactly how it should be.
You have to resist the urge to be all places. You can’t. I’ve tried. It’s a fool’s errand.
To win, find one traffic/sales channel (ads, social, SEO, cold email, door-to-door sales, ha) and one product delivery method (info, ecom, Amazon, eBay, etc.)… then take it so far that it changes your life.
This is the way.
P.S. I’m on screens for hours each day. It started to wear on me: Headaches, eye strain, blurry vision at night… and that wired feeling keeping me up when I was def ready for sleep.
The cause? Bright screens and blue light.
And that’s why I now wear these during the day (and at night when relaxing): LITEZ Screen Lens. BH readers get 10% off using code BHNL.

🛠️ One Build — The One-Channel Cut
Open Claude. List every channel you are currently posting to or paying for.
Ask it to rank them by where your last 5 real wins (customers, leads, revenue) actually came from.
Pick the ONE with the most pull. That is your primary. Everything else drops to maintenance or off.
Block your deepest 2 hours tomorrow for that one channel only. Starve the rest.
🎯 Skill — FEED ONE CHANNEL
Pick the single traffic channel that drives your real results and give it 60 uninterrupted minutes today: one great post, one improvement, one piece of outreach. Ignore every other platform for the hour. One fed channel beats five starving ones. That's the way.

🔴 Loser: BE −13.6%. Bloom Energy, a data-center power play, pulled back hard after a big run. (i like the stock)
When the herd panics over AI valuations, the builders keep building. Focus beats chasing every ticker, same as every channel.

Too many tools. Too many logins. Too many windows. Too many tabs. Too many things to do. Too many emails.
So on and so forth.
And to manage it all, I’ve tried all the apps that promise to do so: asana, monday, todoist, obsidian, logseq, to name a few. Most last 2-3 days, and then they end up in the APP GRAVEYARD. (Can you relate 🙋🏻.)
It took me years to finally find a home: Notion.
I use Notion to house everything I do: Multiple businesses, brands, finances, deals, investing, content ideas, this newsletter, everything.
Notion is extremely powerful but also extremely overwhelming, which is why it took me 3 years once I was inside to figure out the exact ‘Goldilocks’ system to manage all of this.
The result is a custom boomerang, tickler-like system based on GTD principles.
The next thing I had to figure out was how to manage projects. That was only recently dialed in over the past few months as my project count surged (thanks AI).
I finally figured out projects after three painful months of building, abandoning, rebuilding, and building again.
The key is a 🚨 🥇 🥈 🥉 system and sub-items to rank items in a LINEAR order.
The second key is to make sure you only work in that order using that system, not in some other toggle or DB you build on the fly.
As this started to work for me, it became obvious how powerful it was (is). So I decided it was a no-brainer to offer it here. As I was thinking about what the killer angle was, I kept coming back to the core thing that it allows me to feel each day: TO NOT FEEL OVERWHELMED SO I COULD GET RID OF WORK FOMO.
Work FOMO is this: If I work on this task, project, or business, all the others are being neglected. And the anxiety of not knowing, feeling like you’re spinning your wheels or going in the wrong direction. It really takes the fun out of work when you’re in that constant state.
And it can stress you THE FK out.
It often leads to rushing the work itself. This creates subpar work. Half-built bridges. Weak results.
That’s what the system solves. It gives you the feeling that you are in control and that you are working on the right thing at the right moment in the right order.
To feel in control, you have to have confidence that you have all the details and that you've sorted them and ranked them in the proper places. That is, basically, what the entire Getting Things Done system is about. The hard part about GTD is creating a system that you can follow in the digital age.
I think this is the single hardest thing to solve in productivity today.
If any of this resonates with you, check it out. Inside are the exact pre-built databases that I use every day to manage multiple brands and businesses and a team of 30.
There are a few short videos to show you the ropes. You can get the system working for you in minutes. Just install it into your Notion back end, and it’s ready to go.
I also included an AI skills database designed to help you solve AI FOMO. The foundational skills that you can build the rest of your work on top of. So you don’t feel like you are spinning your wheels, or worse, watching the AI wave pass you by.
Pair them together, and you have the new OS for working in the AI age: One workspace where you know what’s next, nothing slips, and you’re learning AI while doing instead of watching people hype it up on social media.
