Lot to cover below.
My thoughts on Liver King
A new free app I use daily
the root cause of every problem in the world today (and what we can learn from it)
How to optimize your minerals and why you might need to
-Colin
Tired all the time? It might be your minerals.
Fatigue is becoming more prevalent in our modern society. One main reason for this is our nutrient-depleting food supply. As foods become more industrialized, more heavily processed, and monocropping strips the soil of naturally occurring nutrients so that farmers have to rely more heavily on petrochemicals and fertilizer inputs, the net result is your food is LACKING.
The net effect is less nutritious food. Each year that goes by, America gets sicker. And the numbers are still growing. The trend has not reversed.
Magnesium is an essential mineral needed for over 600 biochemical processes in the human body.
It’s that important.
Most people are already magnesium deficient, so it’s become imperative to supplement.
I take 4-6 Wild Magnesium caps a day. It’s helped me ward off that afternoon slump and has improved my energy levels and focus across the board.
Our Wild Magnesium Complex has 7x Forms of magnesium to give you what your body needs without having to buy multiple products. Just take a dose 1-3x a day to optimize your magnesium levels and prevent the following signs of mineral deficiency:
loss of appetite
fatigue and weakness
shaking
pins and needles
muscle spasms
hyper-excitability
sleepiness
General stress, anxiety and inflammation
As you can see, magnesium is important. Not having enough magnesium is a big problem.
A once or twice a day serving can give you multiple forms of magnesium and help you optimize your levels.

What is Better Human?
Better Human is a philosophy for 21st-century humans that want to live effective, happy, and healthy lives.
I’m building publicly here: TheBetterHuman.co - check out the Learning Route/core philosophy as it develops. And please share any thoughts, ideas, or concepts you think should be included.
Becoming better through practical philosophy paired with modern technology and psychology.
Train your mind, Train your thinking, Train your philosophy
It’s not just physical training; it’s mental frameworks, how to think, how to think effectively, how to stand by your principles, and how to remain true to who you are in the face of societal pressure to conform.
Building a personal philosophy and standing by that and your principles rather than being influenced by the mob.
Being truly who you are unapologetic. Stop hedging. Stop pretending. Stop pleasing.
My thoughts on Liver king
Liver king lied.
But for many of us, it was obvious.
I guess if you truly believed he could build a psyche like that naturally, you might be bothered when the truth came out.
But I knew.
The question you may want to ask yourself is why a human lying making you upset?
Every public figure lies. In some cases, lying is their job.
Politicians lie. Again, part of their job. Yet you still vote for them.
Celebrities, actors, and musicians are humans. They lie to others, to themselves, and to their fans.
The real question is, So what? Why are you surprised?
“He who is without sin cast the first stone.” Jesus said that.
You often see the most judgemental outspoken critics are often the biggest hypocrites.
I see all the hate going at him and group psychology you see directed at any public figure when it comes out that they are actually human like the rest of us.
I couldn't care less about what some dude puts in his body.
But I do care when I see so many fall victim to their own misunderstood psychology.
And then parts of me care about seeing hypocrites be hypocrites, though that shouldn't surprise me, considering we're talking about humans here.

Another amazing free app that’s now part of my daily routine: LOGSEQ
I tried Roam Research back in the day. It was fine, but I didn’t get into the habit and it cost $, so I stopped using it.
I recently stumbled upon an app that’s almost the same, yet 100% free.
I use Notion for everything, but Notion lacks for organizing a lot of information in an easy to find way. I think Logseq and Notion are my new stack.
The magic is in the interlinking using hashtags. You gotta try it.
Another note on personal knowledge management
I’ve been spending more time inside my self-created knowledge systems (the two above mainly).
It’s something we should all aim for…. escape the externally driven mainstream and social media influences and spend time thinking, creating, and ideating in an area of curated information.
This will give you back control of your mind. It’s also where you’ll do your best work and have your best ideas.
A daily Logseq habit can help you do that. After you get the collecting process down, pair it with an idea/assimilating process where you go back to the information you’ve collected and reread, rethink, and add more to it.
The best things you will ever create will come from your own unique knowledge and tinkering.
The more time you spend in your own curated mental world, the better your life.
You become what you think about.
So controlling what you think about is imperative to everything.
A quick note on intellectuals and scientists and research
Intellectuals who read “studies” and then go on to use them to make claims are not engaging in science.
And those who try to shut down debate and pretend to know better than everyone else because they have some higher credentialed status are propagandists drinking their own Kool-Aid. And really, they are enemies of humanity. (Just read Thomas Sowell’s Intellectuals and Society)
Most research offers up nothing but educated guesses.
Very little research done proves a scientific fact.
Every so often, a study might lead to falsification, but most of the time, it doe snot.
We need research, for sure, because it moves us closer and closer to falsification.
But make no mistake about it: you cannot have FACT without the ability to falsify something (prove it wrong through experimentation).
So all the medical experts, politicians, and vaccine manufacturers and all their “research” was a bunch of guesses. One might say they were “educated guesses” based on available information. Sure, I’ll give them that.
But why haven't those educated guesses been updated in the face of newly available information? 🤔
This is why: money, consistency bias, self-preservation, the established MSM narrative, etc.
The worst offenders of this are those that take charts from “research” and pretend it’s a fact. I think many don’t even understand that a meta-analysis of other studies that look at other studies (like turtles down) is not falsification information, most of which had nothing to do with actual experimentation.
Every problem today
All of humanity’s problems lie in some humans trying to control others.
If humans kept to themselves and stopped trying to control others through propaganda, manipulation, coercion, and other bullshit, then we would have none of the problems we have today.
America has been the most prosperous nation in human history because of its strong property rights that are as close to this ideal as possible.
That’s why it’s still humanity’s best chance at moving on to the new epoch of human organization, which will be a bitcoin-fueled small city-state-like existence based entirely on market forces and opting in.
The state is a service provider. The problem is it’s not easy to choose another state, and thus the state has a monopoly, which is why it produces such a shit product.
Look at any highly regulated industry, and you see shit products. Why is this the case?
Because of a lack of market forces, the best products come from the most accessible markets. Always.
Even Rockefeller labeled the first real monopoly, created the energy network the world runs on, and from it, every ounce of prosperity we take for granted today. It could be argued that it required highly anticompetitive behavior to make that happen. He even standardized the railroad system, which led to lower prices, lower cost barriers for competition, etc.
As a monopoly, he brought down the price of energy more than anyone else in human history. Monopolies are supposed to raise prices to price gouge customers. Instead, he created better products and better prices for his customers. Interesting, isn't it?
Just another example of whatever the mainstream idea is, go to the opposite, and you find the Truth.
This principle will eventually win out, and our species will come along for the ride. It might take 50-100 years. But that’s history. That’s evolution.
We might not be around to see it, but we can take this principle and apply it to our lives now.
How do we do that?
Through ABSOLUTE OWNERSHIP of our minds, bodies, lives.
Every thought and action you claim as “your own” must be analyzed. Did it come from trauma? Did it come from someone else? Have I ever questioned it, picked it apart, or made it strong, or am i just accepting it?
This is the core ethos of the Better Human Philosophy—complete ownership and a life designed from the ground up by the individual.

Austrian economics - modern economics follow Keynesian principles of bullshit, and that’s why we have inflation and an ever-growing government that will eventually gobble up everything, then tip over and die.
