Dear Fellow Human,
Consider for a moment all the things you believe.
These beliefs direct your every action and thought.
That's a big deal.
Have you ever thought about this?
Why do you believe what you believe and do what you do?
Most people have not considered this.
In fact, most people actively defend their beliefs rather than trying to improve them. And that's why we have so many unhappy, sick, and brainwashed humans in the world today.
It's why they call it "Taking the red pill" for those that wake up to the reality of what's going on in modern society. It's the perfect metaphor for the masses which are plugged into the Matrix.
How you spend your money, how you vote, what content you watch, what news you follow (hopefully you don’t), how you raise your kids, what you think about relationships, love, marriage, whether you think college is worth it or not, what’s fair, not fair, and so on.
Everything.
Now here’s an exercise for you:
List out every book, course, lecture, even YouTube video you’ve watched on the topics that make up your worldview.
Which topics, if any, have you investigated yourself?
And for those you did look into, how deep did you go?
1 hour? 5?
Did you look into all sides of the subject matter to understand the idea's history and principles?
What you’ll find, and it’s nothing to be ashamed of, is that you probably haven’t done much to dive into these ideas yourself.
Unfortunately, that's typical for most people. And we were all there at some point because that's the indoctrination we are all born into it.
Like me, some of us were better at opting out of the system earlier or were forced to.
I did so poorly in school that I was forced to an alternate path. This was just environmental happenstance, and it led to my distrust of authority, governments, and why I became an entrepreneur.
So don’t waste your time trying to justify anything or feeling bad for yourself. That’s a waste of time.
If this pulls at you in any way, take it as a sign that you are ready to do the hard work of challenging your beliefs.
Make it a goal to understand all the most important subjects that make up your life.
Money, finance, investing, debt, fiat, Bitcoin
Relationships, monogamy, polygamy, the history of marriage, and why it was created to pass down property to the next generation (yup, it's about money after all)
Raising children - how everything the experts say is wrong
Experts - anything and everything you get from their ilk is corrupted.
Your best strategy is to go to niche thinkers, books, podcasts, and youtube channels, to compile the information yourself to come to your own conclusions.
You should never "trust" a public figure you don't know. That's just stupid.
And if you like someone, what they say should have nothing to do with that fact.
Critically think for yourself.
10 Principles of The Better Human or 10 Better Human Principles or
“Our life is frittered away by detail. Simplify, simplify.”
― Henry David Thoreau, Walden and Other Writings
I’m writing a book. I’ll probably call it The Better Human: 10 Principles For Getting Better and living like a badass mofo that takes no prisoners.
Or something.
I'm trying to distill life for modern humans down to the essential principles.
Simplicity is one of those principles.
So is action.
And movement.
And the growth mindset.
And a few others I’m refining.
Simplicity is a big one. The process itself is one of trying to achieve simplicity.
Everything good is simple.
Every product, idea, book, movie, play, etc., is as simple as it can be.
It’s like when Michelangelo said he removes all the stone that's not supposed to be there... and then David emerges.
It’s about removing just enough—not too much, not too little.
That’s simplicity.
And simplicity is about as close to perfect as we can get.
Complication creates waste, procrastination, anxiety, and investing time, money, and energy into the wrong things.
Seek simple in everything.
“Any intelligent fool can make things bigger, more complex, and more violent. It takes a touch of genius — and a lot of courage to move in the opposite direction.”
― E.F. Schumacher
Hard things are good—embrace them
The general complaint is that, the world is full of evil and imperfections, disturbances and despairs, and one often wonders how peace and tranquillity could be found in their midst. But there is no need to despair, for we should bear in mind that a rough surface is, as a rule, essential for sharpening any dull instrument. When one knows the art of applying the tool to the grindstone, it is the roughness of the stone that alone sharpens the tool. So too, in life, when we understand the “Art of establishing Right Contact” with the world, we chasten and edify our subjective personality. The evils of the world, therefore, are not great problems and impediments, but man’s lack of dexterity in facing the challenges confronting him, is the real problem.
-Chinmayananda, Swami. Kindle Life (pp. 11-12)
The Fiat Lie
“We’re told to use a system in which we all have a certain number of value tokens assigned to our name, either as a number on a screen or as digits on paper notes. We all live in the collective hallucination that these numbers are somehow legit and that their authenticity is not to be questioned.”
-Bitcoin: Sovereignty Through Mathematics
The fiat paradigm that we are born into is based on lies.
No one tells you to even question it.
Don’t question authority. Don’t ask why, how, etc.
It’s all built on blind trust.
And that’s why it’s so broken.
Science is not something you trust, it’s something you DO
Science is a process, not a destination…
And scientists in 2100 will laugh at scientists of 2020
And so on and so forth

The Narrative is ALMOST ALWAYS the opposite of the truth
Nutrition - real, what experts have been touting
Politics - That gov should be the answer to everything, it shouldn’t be
Collectivism - that one group of people will decide how others should live for the GOOD OF ALL through the use of violence
Blame the rich - the rich are a feature, not a bug, of a prosperous society - If people can’t get rich, you don’t have the freedom to live the life you want. Why is this so hard to understand?

Colin, I would add that humans are the only living creation that is 100% dependent on its mother from the second it is born. That is because we are designed for relationships-emotionally, physically, mentally, and spiritually. Marriage is an essential part of that.
