🦾 The State is NEVER The Solution
👋 Hey, Colin here! I made this edition free because the topic is really important to understand and think through critically.
More state is never the answer.
Any student of history knows this.
More regulation is never the answer.
Anyone with a basic understanding of Austrian economics knows this.
Relying on anyone to protect you or your own is never the answer.
Everyone should know this.
Every “current thing” that happens becomes a cesspool of virtue signaling and idiot humans jockeying to gain power by pointing fingers and using the mob’s outrage and ignorance to position themselves as the next “savior” of America.
Politicians are scum because the game is a cesspool of parasitic shit.
I have two kids. The idea that the police barred anyone from entering the school and did not themselves enter until backup arrived makes me physically sick. I want to vomit.
There may be more to this story, but it’s starting to look like that's actually what happened.
Give me a 9mm and a single clip or even a knife, and I’m going to do what I can. Hide behind corners, be silent, and find an opportunity to take him out when he isn’t looking. This is a school. It's not like you’re entering a giant hall with no cover. Give me a fucking break. It makes me sick.
And somehow, LITERALLY, SOMEHOW, the public response, and the grifter politicians who love to use this stuff to get power are calling for gun control.
So we give up our guns and then rely on the police to protect our children and us when they already CAN’T/WON'T do that?
Not to mention that giving up your guns is how the state becomes the real treat as you slide into tyranny, something the founding fathers knew well.
→ The US does not lead the world in mass shootings. We are like 10 or 12 on the list and we used to be 50th or so. (I believe social media and our fear-based isolating culture that lacks community and strong family units are the reason this has risen in the past 15 years. Not to mention the MSM making these people famous.)
→ In States with the strictest gun control laws, there is the MOST gun violence. Imagine that: a law that criminals ignore. 🤔
→ States with the loosest gun laws have the least gun violence. 🤔
I will feel much safer when there are more law-abiding citizens with firearms who carry them and know how to use them. At least there would be more willing defenders of those that cannot defend themselves—children and unarmed innocents.
This is all devastating. Tragic. Gut-wrenching.
Remember, the state has always been and always will be the greatest murderer and plunderer, as every student of history knows.
Humans are the most dangerous species on Earth. No other species has been responsible for more slaughtering its species and others than homo sapien sapiens.
You don’t ban humans. You do your best to understand ways to prevent, protect, mitigate, and be aware of. Still, the idea that you will be completely risk-free in your safety is a delusion perpetuated by power-hungry politicians that want you to give them power in the name of “safety.” Don’t fall for it. Be a principled thinker.
Getting armed would be wise as well.
📰 World News 🚨
Colin 👉 Anarchy Would Be Better Than This @SovereignColin@XantheSpace @JustinDixon088 @POTUS you realize that America is 69th on the list of mass shootings in the world, right? Many countries above us have much stricter gun laws… or did you not do any research before spewing your dogma?
🔥 Useful $HIT CORNER 🔥
🎸 On this day in 1939 → Disgusting display of humanity. A boat carrying 937 Jewish refugees fleeing Nazi persecution is turned away from Havana, Cuba, on May 27, 1939. Only 28 immigrants are admitted into the country. After appeals to the United States and Canada for entry are denied, the rest are forced to sail back to Europe, where they’re distributed among several countries including Great Britain and France.
⌨️ Productivity → Do fewer things. Part of doing fewer things requires being ok with downtime and boredom. I think these are good though, so embrace them rather than right them.
🦾 A principle for life → Life is short. Check out this amazing article by Tim Urban: The Tail End
💬 "If you care too much about being praised, in the end you will not accomplish anything serious. -Leo Tolstoy
🥜 Food → I left my steak on the pan for a couple of minutes longer than I meant to. Then I did it again. It came out perfect. It had that thick restaurant-like crust. I’ve def been underdoing the crust on my steaks. Not anymore.
"Most big, deeply satisfying accomplishments in life take at least five years to achieve. This can include building a business, cultivating a loving relationship, writing a book, getting in the best shape of your life, raising a family, and more.
Five years is a long time. It is much slower than most of us would like. If you accept the reality of slow progress, you have every reason to take action today. If you resist the reality of slow progress, five years from now you'll simply be five years older and still looking for a shortcut."
One cow can feed an adult for an entire year. Cows are integral to regenerating pasture that’s been decimated by all that monocropping processed slop… so ya, this would be great. You can also freeze beef for a long time and nutrients stay highly stable
Also, as a technologist, I thought you’d be more aware of the power of innovation and innovators and entrepreneurs in moving humanity forward.
The entire overpopulation to climate thing is completely nonsense
💸 Better Money Section 💰
Money is the most important tool for living the life you want. Make as much of it as you can so you can make the world better in your own unique way.
💲 Bitcoin 💰→ At this point, nothing looks attractive right now other than Bitcoin.
I’m holding on real estate, keeping some cash on the sidelines, and preparing for some more pain in the coming months.
Then I’ll start buying. (I’m still daily buying bitcoin with Swan.)
💳 Business Idea 💰→ Get a product in people’s hands then get a ton of feedback. Then keep doing that until you have something people will give you money for. The hardest part of business is making your first dollar, so find a way to do that and keep going.
📈 Stocks 💰→ no idea. part of me feels like the stock market is going to continually be a rigged game at the whims of the state. I think i may sell out completely on our next hype run.
