🦾 opting-out to live better
Acres and acres outside of Austin and some other famous entrepreneurs moving here
Fellow human,
I’m working on a land/community project outside Austin, Texas.
It’s going to be the hub for all things Better Human.
The bigger goal is to create an economic model that others can replicate around the U.S. and then the world. As the world is waking up to the risk inherent in the centralization of food, power, energy, and government manipulation, the time is NOW to create a better way of life to show the masses how to opt-out.
I've finished a few pages on the website explaining my Better Human philosophy. I’ve constantly been distilling, learning, and uncovering new ways of thinking and living.
It’s incredible that this is still happening at 36.
It also highlights how long it takes to come into your own.
I feel like many humans today aren't on that path because they are so plugged into the Matrix that they don't even know a Red Pill exists that can wake them up to what's going on around them and inside them.
No matter where you are at right now, keep going.
An excellent place to start is to opt-out of the food supply. Start buying from your local farmer. The food will be better in every way, and the prices are either the same or less than buying at the grocery store. Brian and I are working on a decentralized food project—a kind of animal-share, CSA, security model. We’ll soon have a separate email list set up for that, so stay tuned.
Onward!
What to expect in today’s edition:
🚗 Where is Elon moving Tesla’s headquarters? (Hint: near me.)
👨💻 More and more Big Tech telling us how to think
🍳 Leftovers might become your favorite meal
Let’s go…
📰 News 🚨
🇺🇸 🏛 The U.S. economy shows slow job growth for the second month in a row, adding 194,000 new jobs in September, much less than the 366,000 a month earlier. Big surprise → you send citizens free money, and you remove their incentive to work. Duh. This is just the bootloader for full-blown socialism, which many believe we already have. Considering the U.S. Government is now 50% of GDP....
⛅️ Big Tech knows more than you and I and should tell us exactly what to think and how to live → Dissecting Google's climate denial crackdown → One more example of the anti-science idiocy that the very defenders of would claim to be pro-science. This is Scientism, not science. Science is a process of falsification and constant and rigorous debate, analysis, and experimentation. Silencing this process in any way only leads to the LACK OF SCIENTIFIC PROCESS. THIS IS AN ATTACK ON HUMANITY.
🛻 Tesla is moving its headquarters from Palo Alto, CA, to Austin, TX.
😢 Bomber kills 46 inside an Afghan mosque. This reminds me of something I saw recently—there was a display at a museum (I think) with a plaque that read, “World’s most dangerous animal.” Above the plaque was a mirror. 😔
🔥 Useful $HIT CORNER 🔥
🗓 On this day in 1871, the Great Chicago fire kills 200-300 people, destroys 17,450 buildings, and causes an estimated $200 million in damage.
👨👩👦 Be a role model for your kids → Your kids learn from what you say and do. Monkey see, monkey do. So if you want them to grow up to be healthy, functioning, and well-adjusted adults, then be a healthy, functioning, and well-adjusted adult yourself.
🍻 Russia considered beer a soft drink up until 2011. I guess they didn’t consider it strong enough to be categorically listed next to their 80 proof vodka 😅
🥑 Food: This is a great video on heating olive oil. Here’s my take → a lot of the olive oil in the stores are actually blends that contain other oils like soy, corn, etc. This happens a lot actually. If you're going to heat olive oil, make sure it’s a trusted source then maybe consider keeping it on medium. I may be adding a bit to my cooking repertoire here and there. Ghee, butter, coconut oil, MCT oil, still get the job done for 99% of your kitchen cooking needs.
🍳 Cooking: Do this → Save leftovers in glass containers. Then anytime you need a quick meal, do this → Reheat cast-iron or non-stick pan over medium heat → Add butter → Add ingredients → Cover for a few minutes → then work it with a spatula until all cooked through and add a dash of salt to finish. Re-cooked food is almost always more delicious since flavors meld in the fridge and you get a chance to add a bit more seasoning.
🏕 Prepping: Consider investing in a $200 chest freezer and loading it up with meat from your local farmer. You could buy a 1/4 or 1/2 cow.
🌊 Surviving: Don’t carry things while climbing. 700 people a year die from ladders and scaffolding, with half of those involving someone carrying something. #timetobanladders?
🌍 Rad: Earth generates around 40 terawatts of heat. Half of that comes from radioactive decay in its core.
🚶 Health: Our ancestors walked an average of 15 miles a day. How much are you walking? My goal is to walk 30 minutes a day. We go after dinner with the kids. Make it a routine.
✍️ Interesting: The average four-year-old child asks four hundred questions a day. (I can attest to this.)
🦓 Animal Kingdom: Biologists believe that zebra’s stripes help prevent horsefly bites.
⌨️ Productivity: I started using the Spaces app to replace Bear for writing. I don't like seeing the syntax markdown code while typing, but most of the writing apps show this. Spaces hide the code while typing, so it wins me. It also syncs across all devices. I did the $ 35-lifetime access.
📽 Movie: 🗡 Sean Bean (Boromir) is afraid of flying so instead of taking the helicopter to film the remote shots for The Lord Of The Things, he would climb for two hours from the base of the mountain to reach the set in his full outfit. 🚁
😘 Love: Accept people for who they are and stop trying to make them be someone they’re not.
Easy-to-drink Superfoods by Organifi
Today we got a new sponsor for ya.
A company I’ve been following for a long time ever since I entered the nutrition space 8 years ago. They have a dedication to quality similar to mine, which is the only reason I’d ever consider taking them on as an ad partner. The founder, Drew, is also outspoken about all the nonsense going on today, which I love.
Right now I’m using the powdered coconut water powder as well as the gut restore powder in my morning water bottle each morning. Love it.

🇺🇸 Amendment III in the Bill of Rights: No soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law.
🤐 Big Tech censorship: Big Tech will fight new Texas law cracking down on censorship. I’m not sure how I feel about this one. You often hear the argument that private businesses should be able to do whatever they want, censorship included.
Under that logic, if a private business wants to kill or rape or kidnap their users or members or patrons, they should be able to do so?
There’s just something so inherently violating in suppressing information that I think it’s one of those things that should be protected in any public forum, which Big Tech is.
🆓 Freedom: I highly recommend reading the article: A Strategy for Forcing the State Back By Per Bylund → I’m working on a large project based on this article and similar ideas of agorism, counter and parallel economies, and opting out.
💉 VAERS data released today by the CDC showed a total of 438,441 reports of adverse events from all age groups following COVID vaccines, including 9,048 deaths and 41,015 serious injuries between Dec. 14, 2020 and July 2, 2021.
🍟 Big Food: The largest donors to the American Heart Association include: Abbott, Bayer, Boehringer Ingelheim, Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMS), Eli Lilly, Merck, and Pfizer BIG PHARMA AT AGAIN.

Yet many would tell you this is a conspiracy…
🤑 Something Money: I ounce bought Amazon stock at $180 a share and sold it was $270 a share. I think I made $6,000 or so on that trade (and most likely paid $1500 in taxes). Had I just held, like I should have, that $~9500 in Amazon shares I bought would now be worth $192,000+ → The lesson is to buy and hold assets. Buying and selling is dumb and you’re usually going to be wrong. (Also, if you just buy Bitcoin and wait, that’ll likely be the best thing you’ve ever done.)
📘 Book Corner: I got into reading with this book: River God. I was hooked. I went on to read most of his books. I think this single book is one of those life-changing moments that everything else I’ve done is built upon.
💬 A Quote To Ponder: “It is difficult to get a man to understand something when his salary depends upon his not understanding it.” -Upton Sinclair
🙋🏻The Power of Questions: What is the big thing you know you need to do but have convinced yourself you shoulnd’t, can’t, won’t, whatever?
Think about it. Be honest. What is it?
Write it down.
Now come back to it in a few days. Sometimes the very act of putting your subconscious resistance into words can demystify and remove its power.
😶 Definition corner: In the philosophy of science, a theory is falsifiable (or refutable) if it is contradicted by an observation that is logically possible, i.e., expressible in the language of the theory, and this language has a conventional empirical interpretation.[A]
Helping Humanity + Supporting The Show
From the Charity Water Website: 785 million people in the world live without clean water.
The Bitcoin Impact Fund is currently raising funds for an entire Charity Water project. Estimates for completed water projects range between $10,000 and $25,000, so I’ve set a goal of $15,000. Once we reach that, I’ll work directly with C.W. to fund a project from start to finish. Can’t wait!
→ 50% of all subscriptions to this newsletter go directly to the fund. 🙏.

About Me & Better Human
I’m Colin. I’m Pro-Humanity. I believe in Free Humans, Free Markets, and limited (if any) government. I’m also a CEO, Entrepreneur, Father, Podcaster, and Thinker. Read my story.
My goal is to help you opt-out of the system. To escape the Matrix that profits off your lack of flourishing. To take your health, thinking, finances, and life into your own hands. With that newfound freedom and abundance, you’ll show others how to do the same. That’s what Better Human is all about.
My thought of the day:
Taoism shows us the duality of life: that everything is a balance of opposing forces—black/white, night/day, good/evil, hot/cold.
