GM, It’s Colin… Your secret weapon to becoming a better human.

There’s a lot of news today because so many juicy things are going on. I have so many saved links that I had to offload some of them here.

One thing I’ve been thinking about lately is insider trading by politicians.

Starling graphs show how individuals in congress buy and sell stocks ahead of publicly available news. I don’t understand how this is not insider trading. I may have to venture down this rabbit hole soon.

-Colin

And the politicians that dole out the funds have no skin in the game, no accountability, which is why the entire thing that is the state collapses eventually.

Taxes exist for one reason: To take resources from the most productive members of society and give them to the least productive members of society.

You can’t end homelessness or hunger with all the money in the world. The idea that anyone can, let alone a private individual, is another example of the detached nature many on the left have about reality and facts.

The fact that the left would have a meltdown over Elon Musk bringing back free speech to Twitter, tells us everything we need to know about their agenda.

If the libs are mad about Elon buying Twitter they should just make their own Twitter. It is a private company, after all.

What do automobiles, guns, and home-schooling all have in common that makes the liberals hate them? All these things reduce individual dependence on the government and on the grandiose schemes for other people's lives created by liberals and imposed by government.

I still find it baffling why being anti-lockdown and anti-mandate is not a mainstream leftist position. Imagine this was 1960. What an interesting shift in our political sensibilities: that "freedom" is a now pejorative term, associated with conservatives

Inflation is at a 40-year high of 8.5% due to federal policies of borrowing & printing money at unfathomable levels & bad energy policy, which is hurting Floridians. Biden could unleash domestic energy production to provide relief. Instead, he is content watching people suffer.

💸 Better Money Section 💰

Money is the most important tool for living the life you want. Make as much of it as you can so you can make the world better in your own unique way.

Completely clueless narrative:

People say "fair share" about the wealthy paying taxes.

Ok, LOL, people have no idea how it works. Run a business, and you'll quickly figure out that you are taxed on EVERYTHING: every transaction, employee, purchase. Then if you're fortunate enough to have any money left, you're taxed again. Then you have to invest it, and you're taxed on that too.

🧠 Psychology 💰 → Be bold. If you did your research and believe in your thesis, then go at it unapologetically and without fear.

💲 Bitcoin 💰→

Every problem of humanity is rooted in violating property rights.

If everyone respected their own and kept out of others, the world would be a utopia.

📈 Stocks 💰→ When you look at your portfolio and you see red, your first thought should be, “What can I buy to increase my position in a company I already own?” Looking at your stock market and caring about how much you are “down” is poor mindset. You aren’t up or down until you sell. So if you decide to sell, you realize that loss. If you don’t, you don’t.

💭 Quote 💰→ "Empty pockets never held anyone back. Only empty heads and empty hearts can do that." -Norman Vincent Peale on liberalism

💭 History 💰→ 🍎

Founders Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, and Ronald Wayne created Apple Computer Co. on April 1, 1976, to market Wozniak's Apple I desktop computer,[1] and Jobs and Wozniak incorporated the company on January 3, 1977,[2] in Cupertino, California.

Apple's worldwide annual revenue in 2010 totaled US$65 billion, growing to US$127.8 billion in 2011[8] and $156 billion in 2012

Apple revenue in 2021: $378.35 billion.

Entrepreneurship → We are all entrepreneurs, whether we start external companies or manage ourselves. Same thing. Each has a profit/loss and balance sheet. Each are beholden to the same laws of 80/20, focus, compound interest, patience, etc.
