Better Humans,
I’ve written at least a million words over my producing content career.
Tips, tricks, lists, how-to’s, etc.
I know the math: some absurdly low % of people that read your work will ever do anything with it.
So every word I type, I try to think of the most persuasive phrasing so I can compel as many as possible to be one of the few that do something.
Action is everything.
Not sure what the best decision is?
Take action.
And maybe not the obvious action, but perhaps the action that comes before action, like writing a list or doing some research.
Not sure how the design for a new label at 1 am when you should be sleeping—this guy last night—start with action: open illustrator and copy/paste an old label file to get you started. (That’s what I did, and 15 minutes later, I exported a “print ready” label file.)
Stuck creatively in work or feeling in a rut or tired?
Go outside. Take a walk. Exercise. Do something. Take action.
Change is aw of the Universe. This means that your body, mind, and environment are constantly changing, always in flux.
Imagine physical reality is like an ocean, and you’re stranded at sea. If you stop moving, you drown. If you keep kicking/swimming/treading water, you’ll work with the current and eventually find a flotsam to hang onto until someone saves you or until you wash up on a beach.
Fixedness in a constantly changing environment makes you fragile. Things that are fragile always eventually break. The definition of fragile is: will eventually break due to stress.
Being antifragile is benefiting from change and disorder. So when things change, you surf, learn, evolve, and get stronger.
The reality of human existence is you have to forever put in work. Work into your health, mindset, relationships, business, and projects. If you don’t, they die.
Now, I understand that most people struggle with first principles thinking. Most can’t think past their feelings, so they rarely come to elemental truths, like the realities of death, work, change, flux. So they stick their head in the sand and proceed to live lives of quiet desperation. (Thoreau said that over 100 years ago, and it’s more true today than ever.)
I can't give you exactly what to do tomorrow to break from your routines and habits. They are ingrained. They've been there a long time. Statistically speaking, you're not going to wake up tomorrow a different person.
You could, but probably won't.
Though you might wake up a different person six months from now. That is, of course, if you start analyzing your decisions and bring them to the forefront of your mind so you can stop operating on autopilot.
When you do, do this: prioritize action… and prioritize the hard thing.
If you start cultivating a bias to action and pair that with pursuing the hard thing over the easy thing, your life will change for the better. That’s a mathematical certainty.
A final note on the importance of small changes.
Your life ONLY changes one small decision at a time.
Don't expect to wake up one day with some movie-worthy epiphany.
That's simply out of your control. If it happens, by all means, squeeze every opportunity out of it.
The odds are it won't.
Instead, focus on what you can control: habits, decisions, environment, mindset, action, clear thinking, etc.
Each one is choice. It’s your choice to bring these controllable decisions to your direct awareness so you can carefully consider them. It is equally your choice to let them run on autopilot while wishing for the best.
Do not leave things in a changing environment up to chance.
Choose.
P.S. Don’t miss
🌎 World 🚨
I’m torn on this one. It seems a bit too convenient that all of these celebrities were involved in the same movies and how little other evidence there is that’s come out. I feel like more people would be speaking up or at least leaking info.
How some people become cops is beyond me. Oh wait, no it’s not, it’s a state-run organization. Almost forgot.
Like LOL. If this isn’t a proxy for how to think about the entire established narrative on everything, then I don’t know what is. Trust institutions and they will kill you. Literally and figuratively.
The idea that a government should have a say in what a private citizen owns or doesn’t is just the remnants of communism and collectivism still stuck in our system.
Crazy.
Weak men create bad times bad times create strong men strong men create good times good times create weak men create bad times bad times create strong men strong men create good times good times create weak men… on and on forever. (Though I believe bitcoin will help stop this.)
You grow up thinking vaccines are necessary and safe. Then you are forced to do your research because you have kids and are independent enough to care about their long-term health, so you don’t just blindly accept the status quo. Then you see Truth.
This topic has so much data and is so easy to work through in a point-by-point discussion that it has to be turned into a holy-like war because that is the only way to prevent people from doing just that.
And when you understand that point, you’ve officially become red-pilled and now see all of the Matrix for what it is.
Liberals/democrats fail because their operating thesis is about more socialism—more disbursement of other people’s money, more government regulation and involvement, and as a result, less free market.
The net result of more states is that EVERYTHING IS WORSE except for the politicians.
Gonna try this.

CBD stands for cannabidiol, which is one of the active ingredients found in cannabis and hemp. CBD oil is a made from the hemp plant. Hemp is not the same as marijuana, although both plants are memebrs of the cannabis family. Hemp contains very little THC (the psychoactive ingredient in marijuana).
What are the benefits of CBD oil?
CBD has been shown to have anti-inflammatory, anti-anxiety, and pain-relieving properties. CBD oil is becoming more popular as a natural remedy for various conditions, including anxiety, chronic pain, depression, and more. Here are a few benefits of CBD oil:
1) Anti-inflammatory: CBD oil is known to be an effective anti-inflammatory agent. It has been shown to reduce inflammation in the body, which can improve overall health.
2) Pain relief: CBD oil is effective at relieving pain symptoms. It works by interacting with receptors in the brain and body to decrease pain intensity and improve the overall quality of life.
3) Anti-anxiety: CBD oil has also reduced anxiety symptoms. It works by interfering with neurotransmitters in the brain that can lead to feelings of anxiety.
4) Improved mood: CBD oil has been shown to improve mood and relieve symptoms of depression. It does this by interacting with serotonin receptors in the brain.
